Find the value of k for which the following systems of equations has no solution: kx+3y=k-3, 12x+ky=k

This question is taken from linear equations in two variables in which we have given two equations kx+3y=k-3, 12x+ky=k for which the given equations has no solution and also asked to find the value of k

Kindly give me a detailed solution of this question

  1. The equations are
    ⇒kx+3y−k+3=0
    ⇒a1​=k,b1​=3,c1​=3
    ⇒12x+ky−k=0
    ⇒a2​=12,b2​=k,c2​=−k

    The   given   system   of   equations   has   no   solution
    ⇒a1/a2​​=​b1/b2​​≠​c1/c2​​
    So we are considering
    ⇒a1​​/b1=a2/b2​​
    ⇒k/12​=3/k
    ​⇒k²=36
    ⇒k=6
