  1. Given, length =15 m 17 cm=1517 cm

    and width =9 m 2 cm=902 cm
    Area of ceiling =(1517×902)
    or, Aceiling=1368335 cm2.
The dimension of square tile required to pave the ceiling =HCF of {1517,902}=41
    Area of tile =1681 cm2
Number of square tile required =Aceiling/Aone tile=(1368334/1681)= 814
